I have a good experience in renewing my license few weeks back. It started at 1pm when I got my queue number. At first, I thought that there are few people inside the renewal section. But as soon as I entered, the room is very crowded. One of them even told me that they've been there as early as 9am, (OMG). I later realized that the room is basically the DOH Accredited Drug Testing Clinic. I asked the employee inside why the queue is this long. The funny answer is "Pasensya napo sir, mabagal kami ngayon kasi computerized na kami" ("Sorry sir, we're slow today because we are already computerized")
Buwahahahahahaha.....only in the Philippines :)
Very common in the Philippine government offices...They spend million to automate their work systems yet nothing changes in terms of work efficiency. Well...
